    Beautiful color! Envy envy envy…

    Wish I could visit Kyoto.

    Are you taking photo requests?

  2. nils says:

    Yes, but no cats, dear merciful God, no more cat photos on the Internet.

  3. Kathryn says:

    I don’t know if you can do this but, I’m asking anyway. Can you get pictures of the wig makers at work in Gion or Pontocho? They seem to be so hidden away, like they must be in some sort of internet purdah.

    Also if there is something that can be found in Seattle that you might need I’m your girl:)

  4. Kathryn says:

    And bridges, I’d like to see bridges as well, if Kyoto has any?

    A photo request::

    I been to Kyoto several times. I use to hang out at a restaurant call Rosental (rosentaru). I dont’t know if it’s still busines. I think the cross
    streets are Sanjo and the main street which begins straight on to the city center from Kyoto Eki. I do recall a MacDonald’s opposite from the restaurant.

    Jya, moshi ohima ga arimasu ga … shashin o totte kuremasen ka.

    Shitsurei shimashita.

    Wig makers? Up in Ponto-cho the geisha are wearing wigs? Down in Miyagawa-cho the geisha and maiko seem to all be wearing their own hair.

    If I get you wig photos, will you send me Seattle Mountain Coffee? I got a big bag from my brother in Oregon one time, and it was so good.
