Broken arm, but still having fun

posted August 1, 2007

Taking a breatherPlaying in the parkGreg had a little accident a few weeks ago, when we were deep into several straight days of relentless rain. He was running in the house and slammed into the wall, breaking one of the bones in his wrist. He is healing well, but he is going to have to wear the cast for a while. Last week he got the original above the elbow cast replaced with this smaller one.

Here he is playing with some neighborhood pals in the park.

blueberries This small neighborhood park will have to do until the big park is reopened after renovations. Hwever, one thing the small park has going for it is a row of blueberry bushes that are beginning to ripen.

I’d like to welcome Greg to the “Childhood Broken Arm Club”. Hang in there, big guy; the itching doesn’t last forever.

His cast is pretty white, though. Nobody’s signing it?

(Nils — I’ll drop you a line today about an upcoming trip.)
