Autumn colors of Kyoto

posted November 26, 2005

Watching the watchers at Enko-ji. Enko-ji Temple is just about as good as it gets, Japanese maple-wise. And, since it is way up here in our area, it has fewer tourists than the bigger name temples in Higashiyama-ku.

Actually, it’s even closer to Rick “Son of Soy” Elizaga, but since he got married (Congratulations!) in traditional Japanese style last weekend, I’m hoping to see wedding pictures rather than momiji posted on his blog when he gets around to it.

Oops, shows how little blog-reading I’ve been doing lately — I finally read this a week after you posted it. Beautiful images of Enko-ji.
    Thanks again for the congratulations!
Working on those wedding photos when I can…
