    Ah, I do miss the fall colors. Not much color change in San Francisco, but if you head to the East Bay from here you can find a few hidden surprises. Last weekend I drove by a nursery that specializes in Japanese Maple; their yard looks like all the trees were ablaze.

    Turkey day tomorrow, JLPT (能力試験) next weekend, and finals after that. Fun, fun, fun. I should buy a ticket to Japan for January, too.
