Hi,
I am currently taking a course on Japanese Manga and Anime at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
I have a task to write a book report on a personally selected Japanese book. I have choosen Yukio Mishima’s novel “The Temple of the Golden Pavilion”. In a recent book by Paul Gravett called “Manga – Sixty Years of Japanese Comics” he mentions that Mishima was very interested in the the historical manga books that were around in the 1960s. However, I am trying to find out if any of the Mishima novels, in particular “The Temple of Golden Pavilion”, has been published in manga or anime format, be it in Japanese or English translation. Or, maybe there are some other manga or anime about the Golden Pavilion which is not based directly on Mishima’s novel? I have a vague memory of having seen something like this during an earlier visit to Japan.
Thankful for any information or pointers on this subject.

I know it’s a longshot, but:
I am planning on re-reading Mishima’s TEMPLE OF THE GOLDEN PAVILION (in English translation) and I’m interested in finding an original first edition volume in fine condition.
Would you be interested in helping me locate the book? I don’t know Japanese and you seem to know English very well.
