    nils-
i always seem to be coming to your site after one of these tests, and so yet again I post the “it worked” comment you probably don’t need.

but i must say that’s a very nice pic. is that from a cellphone, and if so, which one? i’m jealous.

Oh, but I DO thank you ever so much.

    J-Phone Beckham-cam

It’s a J-Phone, made by Toshiba, T-08, which takes up to 640×480 px shots (full VGA), but the ones I posted are the biggest size that can be emailed, called sha-mail. The 8x digital zoom is sucky, and doesn’t work in the 640×480 mode. The little videocamera function (with sound) is cute, and it has 320×240 inside display which is supposedly cutting edge. The sound quality is MUCH better than my old J-phone, which was a major bonus for me, a person with a lifelong phone handicap.

Sounds like Nils is pimping for J-Phone. WRONG!! I am at war with J-Phone right now, because they will not support this product:

Once the memory (8mb) started filling up, I needed to move these pics from phone to computer, but no one sells the cable to do this, not J-phone shops, they tell me to call the J-phone customer service line. Not the J-phone customer service line, they tell me a different thing every time I call. Literally! I am going to write this up in full when the last dog is hung. Another shop gave me the lowdown on the part number I needed, I finally found it and bought it, and now I install the software and find out it’s for mobile internet access only, and can’t transfer the data. Heads will roll before I am done.
